This is an early 20th-century oak bureau bookcase desk featuring a glazed upper section with geometric glass panels and height adjustable internal shelving. The lower section includes a drop-front writing surface that opens to reveal a fitted interior with compartments and small drawers. Below, there are four spacious drawers with brass handles, providing additional storage. The piece stands on bracket feet and has a decorative cornice along the top edge.

The bureau bookcase is in great condition and has been well looked after with marks consistent with age and use, the fold down bureau section has two filled repairs from where the wood has shrank over the years and the leather insert has some marks, please see pictures.
